39th International MATADOR Conference on Advanced Manufacturing

The MATADOR Conference, organised since 1959, is recognized as one of the longest running and most important world events in the manufacturing field. It was designed to be a major forum for the scientific exchange of multi-disciplinary and inter-organisational aspects of production engineering and related areas.

The 39th International MATADOR Conference will be held at the University of Manchester, from 5 - 7 July 2017. As on previous occasions, the Conference aims to provide a major international forum for world leadings academics, researchers and industrial partners to exchange ideas in the field of production engineering and related areas, contributing to the development of innovative solutions to solve Industry’s problems towards a more pleasant and sustainable way of life.

We kindly invite you to participate at this exciting international event. Papers will be blind peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be included in an ISBN conference proceedings book published by Springer.

In addition to participating in the conference, you will have an opportunity to soak in the history and heritage, culture and sports of a vibrant and cosmopolitan city which was the birthplace of the industrial revolution. It is also the home of The University of Manchester, a world leading University.
